- a nationally competitive residency program that provides a thorough grounding in neurological surgery,
- advanced fellowship training in a wide range of subspecialties,
- a faculty-mentored neurological surgery student interest group, and
- weekly grand rounds led by experts in a variety of fields.
The Department of Neurosurgery also houses several research laboratories, which train graduate students, fellows, and residents in neuro-oncology, vascular disease, spine biomechanics, and other areas of leading-edge medicine.
