NREF Research Fellowship Awarded
Each year, the Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation provide Research Fellowships and Young Clinician Investigator Awards to fund basic, translational, and patient-oriented clinical researchers. This year, fourth-year resident Bornali Kundu, MD, PhD, was awarded the NREF and AANS/CNS Section on Neurotrauma & Critical Care 2018-19 Research Fellowship Grant for her Project on “Spreading depolarizations in subdural hematoma,” sponsored by Drs. John D. Rolston, MD, PhD, and Kevin C. Brennan, MD.
